Why Kin Care exists
Finding care for an aging parent is hard. The information is scattered. Facilities look the same on the surface. Pricing is rarely published. And the reviews, where they exist, tend to be either glowing or vague.
We heard this from friends and family who had been through the search. They spent weeks making calls, visiting facilities, and piecing together information that should have been in one place. Kin Care is that place. A straightforward directory with verified data, real family reviews, and honest pricing, built for the moment when families need clarity most.
Verified, not self-reported
Singapore listings are cross-referenced against the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) registry. Malaysia listings are verified against facility websites and publicly available records. Facilities do not control what appears on their page.
Real family reviews
Summaries are drawn from Google reviews written by families, not facilities. We surface what people consistently praise, what they flag, and what questions are worth asking before a visit.
No paid placements
Kin Care is free to use. Facilities cannot pay for better rankings or higher placement. What you see reflects the data, including rating, review count, and completeness, nothing else.
How we keep the data current
Kin Care covers around 200 facilities across Singapore and Malaysia. Care capabilities, contact details, and pricing are verified periodically against AIC records and facility websites. The “Verified” badge on each listing shows when it was last checked.
Pricing is the AIC estimated starting cost. Actual fees vary by care level, room type, and subsidy eligibility. Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents may qualify for subsidies of up to 75%. Each facility page links to the AIC subsidy calculator.
Review summaries update when new Google reviews come in. We do not editorially adjust them. If a facility has a mixed record, the summary will reflect that.
What Kin Care is not
Kin Care is a directory, not a placement agency. We do not earn referral fees. We do not have a call centre that steers you toward certain facilities. We do not have commercial relationships with operators.
We also cannot promise every data point is current. Facilities change their services, pricing, and availability. Use this directory to shortlist and research, then call the facility directly to confirm the details that matter most to your family.
